Having worked in the financial services industry for over 18 years, I've had the privilege of helping countless families achieve their financial goals and secure their futures.
My educational foundation began at Rice University, where I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. I also attended the University of Houston, where I majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and graduated Magna Cum Laude. This academic background provided me with the technical knowledge necessary to excel in this field, but my true inspiration came from much closer to home. As an active member of the Financial Planning Association, I stay current with industry trends and best practices to be sure that I'm providing the most effective guidance possible.
I am following in the footsteps of my father, who was a financial planner for over 20 years. The best advice I ever received came from him. "Time and time again my father would tell me to always be honest, do the right thing, and everything else would take care of itself," I recall. In an industry that has had its ups and downs, I have taken that advice to heart and made it the cornerstone of my practice.
I understand that every client presents unique situations, and my focus is to listen carefully and develop a financial plan that is best tailored to each client's individual needs. I specialize in working with families who are planning for retirement, looking for college funding strategies, have life insurance needs, along with many additional areas of comprehensive financial planning. This personalized approach has been the foundation of my success and the key to building lasting relationships with my clients.
On the personal side, my wife Katie and I live in League City, Texas. We have three wonderful children: Parker, Drake, and Ruby. When I'm not working with clients or spending time with family, I claim to be the #1 Houston Texans fan and love watching the World Series Champion Houston Astros. I enjoy fishing, coaching little league baseball, boating, traveling, and hosting BBQs with family and friends. One of my favorite things to do within the community is to adopt a family through the Candlelighters Charity for children with cancer during the Christmas holidays. This experience reminds me of what truly matters and keeps me grounded in my purpose.
